CIS PROJECTS IN NASSAU COUNTY

Take Stock In Children, a scholarship program for economically disadvantaged students. Students in this project earn tuition scholarships good at community colleges, universities, and technical institutes across the state of Florida. In addition, they are paired with a caring adult mentor.

CIS classrooms at the middle and high school level, which connect services and resources with students identified by school administrators as being at risk of dropping out of school. This project emphasizes employability skills, leadership development, life management skills, and healthy lifestyle choices. Students in these classes also plan and complete a service project.
